With 19 outright victories between 1970 and 2017 no other manufacturer in the history of the world’s greatest sports car race has ever been as successful as PORSCHE. Le Mans is in the marque’s DNA, a vital part of their heritage. It is their ‘Holy Grail’. Having last won overall 3 times in row in 2015, 2016 and 2017 Porsche took a 6-year sabbatical but, to the delight of fans across the globe, they returned in 2023, led and so nearly won. In 2025 could June be the time they take their ultimate 24 Hours top step on the podium. The scene is set to witness the PORSCHE legend continuing.

Wonderfully gracious and personable, Derek will regale a whole host of stories from his outstanding 40-year career; his 5 Le Mans and 3 Rolex Daytona 24-hour wins, his harrowing F1 years and becoming good friends with Steve McQueen while working on the movie classic, Le Mans.
